First off, what is camp?
Company Youth Camp is 5 days filled with fun activities, making new friends, and beautiful encounters with Jesus! We will be focusing on what it means to be FULLY convinced of who God is and who we are as a son and daughter of Christ. Making sure all of that head knowledge becomes heart knowledge!
Our mornings & evenings will have powerful meetings with worship, the word and ministry time. And our days will be packed full of rec and fun activities including lake time, a lazy river and pool, and so much more! For an additional charge of $20, your student will have the opportunity to register for a white water rafting trip as well.
Camp is an amazing way to deepen friendships and make news ones! If you are new or haven’t joined us at Company Youth yet, camp is a great way to start getting plugged in!
Feel free to check out their website for more information. Keep in mind we won’t be using every activity that they have.
Will my child be safe?
Your student’s safety is of utmost importance to us! Because of this, our adult to child ratio is extremely low with a minimum of two adults per cabin and many others on campus to assist. Each adult on campus will have secured a background check. Students will be placed in cabins based on their age and gender. Bathroom facilities are gender specific and adults on campus will never shower at the same time as children.
Our team follows more than minimum protocol on CPR certifications, lifeguard certifications and will have medical staff on site to administer medication or make emergency decisions if needed.
What about meals and snacks?
From dinner on Tuesday to breakfast on Saturday, each meal will be covered by camp! We will ask that you pack a lunch for Tuesday’s ride up to camp. We will offer several snack options as well. If your child chooses to bring any snacks, please be sure they are nut free! If your child has any allergies please list them in the appropriate section when registering them so we can be sure to accommodate!
Your camp isn’t in Nashville, how will my child get there?
Our camp is at Ocoee Retreat Center in Ocoee TN. We will be taking vans or a bus up to camp! If you desire to bring or pick up your student separately, please let us know. This will not change the price of camp. Upon drop off at the bus, if someone else will be picking up your child, please inform camp registration staff. Specific times of leaving & arriving will be sent out closer to camp, but plan on leaving for camp Tuesday morning and arriving back to Nashville around lunch time Saturday!
How can I contact you?
Feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions! We will also ensure you have email and phone number information during the camp week.
Cellphones, friends, and etc.
Our goal is that your student has an amazing time encountering God and building community with friends. We will allow students to bring their phones, but ask that they leave them behind in the cabin for our services. If the phone becomes an issue, it will be taken away until we return back home.
We’re working our best to put your student with their friends at camp! We’ve asked that in your registration you put the name of a friend your student would want to be with in their cabin and will do our best to ensure this happens!
How much will camp cost? And can I get my money back if my child can’t go?
Camp will be $400 for the entire five days with an early bird discount of $350 until March 31st. Keep an eye out for the sibling discount, at 20 dollars after your first child. We do have a refund policy in place. You can get a full refund (excluding fees) if you cancel before May 16th and a half refund (excluding fees) if you were to cancel between May 16th and June 1st, at which point we will no longer be able to accommodate refunds.
PLEASE don’t let money be a reason to miss camp. We’ve set up a scholarship application form here. Email us with any questions or concerns you may have.
What should my child pack?
We will email a detailed list of what to bring closer to June!
